MLB announces all-new MLB Draft League

MLB is starting an all-new MLB Draft League that will allow top eligible draft prospects to showcase their abilities and gain exposure in preparation for the draft.

This new league will start in the summer of 2021 with the MLB draft occurring in July. The league will have teams in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New Jersey.

Major League Baseball announced the news Monday. Below are the details of the new Draft League:
