Carson Fulmer, RHP, Vanderbilt
The Red Sox have been tied to Bregman for a while now and will take him if he is still on the board. With him already taken however, expect them to either select Fulmer or Arkansas outfielder Andrew Benintendi. Fulmer will likely be their choice as he is the top pitcher in the draft class. He has experience as a starter and closer throughout his three years with Vanderbilt. Scouts believe he is one of the certain big leaguers in this year’s class and at worst case scenario will be a solid closer.
