The Astros will be selecting second in this draft after failing to sign prep left-hander Brady Aiken last year, who they selected with the No. 1 overall pick. There is a chance the Astros could selects two position players at No. 2 and No. 5. However, they also have been rumored to have a growing interest in Fulmer. He has experience as a starter and closer throughout his three years with Vanderbilt. Scouts believe he is one of the certain big leaguers in this year’s class and at worst case scenario will be a solid closer.
