Ethan Conrad has made remarkable progress over the past three years. Underrecruited in high school, the New York native began his college career at Marist College, where he delivered two strong seasons. This past summer, Conrad gained national attention with an impressive showing in the prestigious Cape Cod League.
As he prepares for his junior season at Wake Forest, Conrad is one of the top prospects in college baseball and a potential first-round pick in the 2025 MLB draft.
Conrad is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound center fielder known for his well-rounded toolset. He has an advanced contact tool and consistently squares up the baseball. He also makes an impact with his above-average speed. Conrad doesn’t show tons of in-game home-run power, but scouts believe he can tap into more power as he continues to mature due to his size and approach at the plate.
Defensively, Conrad moved to the outfield in college. He is gaining experience in center field but believes he can remain in the position long-term due to his speed, route running and arm strength.
