Dean Moss develops into a top prospect

Dean Moss knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in professional baseball. As an eighth grader, the California native transferred to IMG Academy in Florida, seeking top-tier, baseball-focused training.

The move to the premier baseball academy has paid off for Moss. Scouts consider the talented outfielder as a likely first-round pick in the 2025 MLB draft. He also is an LSU commit.

The 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter is a well-rounded player, with scouts raving about his offensive toolset. He uses an advanced approach to drive the baseball with authority to all fields.
