Cal Fisher is preparing for his sophomore season at Florida State by playing for the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League. It’s his second summer playing for the Mallards.
The Deerfield, Wisconsin, native was a well-regarded recruit coming out of high school. This spring, he hit .273 with five home runs in 66 at-bats as a freshman at Florida State, who advanced to the College World Series.
