We are excited to announce that we have added two interns – JJ Rodriguez and Abbey Handel – to cover the Northwoods League this summer. Both writers are based in Wisconsin and will focus on sharing the stories that make the Northwoods League one of the top summer developmental leagues for college baseball players.

JJ Rodriguez recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, majoring in Journalism and Advertising/Public Relations. He has an extensive background in producing multimedia feature stories for various Milwaukee media outlets.
Abbey Handel is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Journalism and Strategic Communications. She has previously covered Wisconsin sports for WSUM Radio and produced content for a PBS talk show.
