The 2023 MLB draft begins on July 9 and features elite talent and plenty of well-regarded hitting prospects. LSU outfielder Dylan Crews, LSU right-handed pitcher Paul Skenes, Florida outfielder Wyatt Langford and prep outfielders Walker Jenkins and Max Clark highlight the top tier of prospects in this year’s draft class.
The Pittsburgh Pirates own the top overall pick after winning the first-ever draft lottery. It will be intriguing to see how the first round plays out.
